India, Pakistan to resume high level talks: Foreign Minister
Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj meets Adviser Foreign Affairs to Pakistani PM on her arrival in Islamabad.

Islamabad - Read full joint statement. The last 'Bilateral Dialogue' between the two countries was in September 2012.

India will resume high-level talks with rival Pakistan, the Indian foreign minister said on Wednesday, raising hopes that relations between the two nuclear-armed neighbours may be thawing slightly.
"India and Pakistan have decided to resume dialogue," Sushma Swaraj told media at a news conference in the Pakistan capital of Islamabad.

The last meeting in the process known as 'Bilateral Dialogue' was in September 2012.

Relations between the two powers had chilled after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power last year.
