Ankara - The 7.0 magnitude quake injured 994 people

The death toll from a powerful earthquake which hit western Turkey rose to 100 on Tuesday, the country’s disaster authority said.

The 7.0 magnitude quake injured 994 people, the body known by its Turkish acronym AFAD reported, with 147 still in hospital.
