ASRY, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, celebrated World Environment Day, with planting of 50 trees at a site on Hawar Islands, which will now be known as the ‘ASRY Garden’.
On this occasion, ASRY’s chief executive officer, Nils Kristian Berge, said: “The World Environment Day is a principal vehicle for raising awareness on environment issues worldwide and ASRY is committed to not only protecting the environment in its operational activities, but also in spreading community awareness on environmental matters”.
