On the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, arrived in Washington on Sunday night, along with his accompanying delegation, to take part in the signing ceremony of the peace agreement between the UAE and Israel, as well as signing the Declaration of Peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Israel.
The ceremony will be held at the White House on September 15, 2020, in the presence of US President Donald Trump, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates, Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, in addition to senior officials of the US government.
Upon his arrival, the Minister was received by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and officials of Protocol at the US Department of State.
