My lips are always chapped and dry. Apart from Vaseline, is there a natural remedy I can apply?  Noorain
Coconut cream or pure ghee are excellent for chapped and dry lips, exfoliating the dry skin and making your lips smooth.
Approximately how long does it take to rub out old pimple marks with tomato juice? Sidiqa
Every skin type is different, so results may vary. But this treatment can take at least a month to produce results. Tomatoes are very effective in lightening marks on the skin. For quick repair, use this treatment twice a day.
My daughter is four-and-a-half years old and has silky hair, but it is very thin. Could you please suggest a way to thicken her hair?  Name withheld
Castor oil has proven to be the most effective natural way to thicken hair. Always warm the oil before applying and dilute it with either coconut or almond oil, as these are quite nourishing and lead to healthy hair.
I recently noticed that I have some acne on my back. My skin has been quite smooth so far and I'm really concerned that these pimples will leave scars on my back. What should I do?  Maria
Tamarind is very cooling and also helps lighten marks. Make a thick paste of tamarind mixed with some oats powder and apply this to your back. Allow it to dry for at least an hour - you may leave it on overnight, if you like - before rinsing. Do this everyday for best results. Oats work well as a skin softening and smoothening agent.
I am a teenager with upper lip hair and a lot of pimples/boils that seem to come and go, although they are not due to acne. I also have body hair that I would like to get rid of. Please help!  Name withheld
For your boils, add one tablespoon of rice starch to a teaspoon of rice powder and half a teaspoon of corn flour; mix with a little water to make a paste. Apply this to your pimples/boils and facial hair. Allow to dry and scrub off gently. Do this every day for best results. For your body hair, you could increase the quantity of the same paste and follow the same treatment. Rice starch exfoliates, firms the pores and soothes the skin. Corn flour helps to smoothen the skin while rice flour works great as a scrub.
