What books are you reading?
Currently, I have a few titles on the go, including My Story by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Blitzscaling by Reid Hoffman and Chris Yeh and I Ching or Book of Changes, translated by Richard Wilhelm and Cary F. Baynes. The Adventures of Tintin is also one series I always read on repeat.
What are the books that changed your life?
The Famous Five by Enid Blyton fuelled my imagination, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain made me fall in love with literature, The House of Rothschild by Niall Ferguson was an inspiration, The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton M. Christensen infused courage and Blue Ocean Strategy by W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne provided me with clarity.
Most memorable literary character (and why)?
Aragorn II from The Fellowship of The Ring due to his ability to work with high achievers from different ethnicities whilst leading his team by example.
A book that is underrated?
I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak. This book is especially relevant in today's day and age, where individuals feel pressured to be famous, special or to find the genius within themselves. It teaches the importance of being kind and consistent in one's actions in order to have a meaningful impact.
Favourite literary quote?
