Dubai - Motorists urged to take exercise caution when driving in fog.

Motorists were urged to take caution as heavy fog covered many parts of the country on Sunday morning, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

Fog was reported in different parts of the country, including Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi - Al Ain Road, Al Minhad, Al Ain Airport and in Abu Dhabi - Al Ain road in the early hours.
The NCM has urged motorists to take all precautions against potential fog formations. In a statement, NCM said that poor visibility is expected at times over some internal and coastal areas, especially the central and western parts of the country, during the period from 1am until 10am, Sunday morning.
According to the NCM, today's weather will be fair to partly cloudy at times with a probability of fog formation, especially over western areas.
Maximum temperatures will range from 22°C to 26°C in the interior regions, 21°C to 24°C along the coast and 13°C to 17°C in the mountains.
The sea will be moderate, becoming rough northward in the morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
