Dubai Municipality has announced the climate projections for the month of February.
As per the forecast, the average temperature for the month will range from 12°C to 23°C. The atmosphere will be warm during the day and cool at night on most days.

Dubai is likely to be affected by the passage of cold air coming from the Polar Regions beginning Thursday night. This will lead to north-easterly winds that will raise dust. The winds may cause a rise in sea waves that could be accompanied by some light rain in different parts of the emirate. During this time, the temperature will show a marked decline ranging from 8 to 18° C.
This weather will continue until the middle of the week and then the atmosphere will stabilize gradually. The wind speed may exceed 40 km/h in some cases. Therefore, fishermen and owners of sailboats are advised to be careful on these days.

Air depressions from the Mediterranean Sea are expected. These might cause north-westerly wind activity. Sometimes, it may cause weather instability in the region. This may lead to the formation of rain clouds. The country may be affected by the passage of air depressions. These may bring the southern wind which causes sand and dust to rise.

Relative humidity is expected to rise during this month. Light and thick fog are likely, especially in the coastal areas.
The Geodetic and Marine Survey Section of the Survey Department at Dubai Municipality has launched a daily weather forecast service called "Dubai's Weather" on the social media pages of Dubai Municipality.

Dubai's Weather is a service undertaken through the monitoring and forecasting system "Najm Suhail," an app which was launched by Dubai Municipality for monitoring the weather of the city of Dubai.
