UAE has issued a weather alert on Friday as heavy rain lashed parts of the country. Rain hit parts of Sharjah and Dubai, including areas such as Maleha, Al Madam, Nazwa and Lehbab.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority issued an advisory for motorists informing them about the formation of convective clouds eastward, northward and internal areas associated with rainfall - advising them to drive carefully due to slippery roads and follow traffic rules to ensure their safety.
