Prepare your umbrellas as some parts of the country may experience scattered rains due to unstable weather brought by a low pressure system in the western section of the Arabian peninsula.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), "the weather this weekend will be partly cloudy in general. Increased cloud amounts over some areas may be associated with light rain especially on the islands and the seas."
While some areas may experience intermittent rainfall over the next few days, other parts of the country may experience dust storms that will lead to poor visibility over open lands, the Met office added.
The weather will remain relatively unstable from Sunday until Wednesday with increased amounts of clouds over scattered areas associated with rainfall. This will affect the coastal, northern and eastern areas, including eastern high lands and some areas of three northern emirates.
On Sunday, moderate to fresh easterly to southeasterly winds will hit most areas and may be strong over the sea with towering clouds. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. NCMS said there will be no drop in temperatures which will remain on average of mid-20s Celsius across the country.
On Friday, the lowest temperature recorded over the country was 6.8C in Jebel Jais at 6am while the highest temperature was at 29.2C in Saih Al Salem.
