The UAE National Center of Meteorology on Tuesday issued a weather alert for residents in the country.

The weather department warned of cloud formation associated with rainfall.
Rain forecast for Tuesday as mercury dips

"Convective cloud formation, associated with some rainfall and fresh winds with speeds reaching 45kmph causing blowing dust and sand at times, reducing horizontal visibility to less than 2,000 metres at times," the NCM said.

The alert is applicable starting 12.50pm until 8pm.
