Flash showers have soaked Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah early on Saturday. The same was reported in Dibba Al Fujairah, Dibba Al Hisn, Kalba and Khor Fakkan.
Local police have urged all drivers to avoid the valleys and mountainous areas most affected by rains, and be extra careful on wet and flooded roads.
According to Ahmed Hamad Al Shehi, an advisor to the Department of Public Works RAK, more than 100 tankers and pumps have been deployed to drain out any accumulated water.
Convective clouds formation, according to the duty weatherman at the National Mereology Centre, are expected to keep forming over the entire country, particularly in northern areas. These may be associated with rainfall.

"Fresh winds are also to reach 45km/hr," he added. "These will cause blowing dust and sand leading to poor visibility to less than 2,000m at times."
"The lowest temperature recorded today, 14 degrees Celsius, was at Jebel Jais mountain, followed by Merbeh mountain where the mercury dropped to 15.7."
Local residents were affected by the changing weather. "Jebel Jais, as is the case in all previous showers, was heavily lashed by the flash rain," said Hussain Jasim, an Emirati national at Al Rams area.
"It rained heavily for such a long time that the roads were flooded with rain water," said Ashraf Ali, an Egyptian resident at Dibba Al Hisn.
"It was so sandy and windy," said Ibrahim Abdulqader, an Egyptian resident of Dibba Al Fujairah.
"The family and I were planning to go out but canceled all plans because of the heavy showers and poor visibility."
