Washington art installation represents Covid deaths with flags

Washington DC - This rippling field of flags in Washington D.C. shows Covid-19’s scale. It has over 200k flags, one for every American life lost due to Covid-19. Each flag represents a soul, says Suzanne Firstenberg, the artist behind the idea. To Firstenberg, white represents innocence, not surrender. Produced by Neeraj Murali
