Massive traffic jams have been reported in various parts of Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter to report an accident on Sheikhk Zayed Street before Saada Bridge Inbound. Left lane has been blocked so look for alternative routes.

Meanwhile in Dubai, an accident occurred on Sheikh Zayed Road near Al Barsha, causing further traffic congestion in and around the area. 


According to social networking site, TrafficDXB, accidents were reported on Al Khail Road and Ras Al Khor Road and near exit, causing congestion and further tailbacks to the morning rush.
Massive traffic jams have been reported on the E44 Ras Al Khor Road and on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Al Warqa. Motorists were advised to drive with caution and take alternative routes.

In Sharjah, huge tailbacks were observed on Mohammed Bin Zayed Road towards Dubai, according to Google Maps info. Slow-moving traffic was observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.

Congestion was also reported in on Dubai Airport Road, Al Wahda street, Mirdif and Muhaisnah Road towards Dubai.
