RPM reported net profit of Dh49.39 million during 2023
Infrastructure projects worth Dh10 billion are currently underway along the East Coast of the UAE. Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said the projects are part of the 2018-23 five-year plan.
This came as the minister toured a number of projects.
The Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Road will be upgraded at a cost of Dh250 million. It entails the construction of new intersections, as well as three car tunnels and three pedestrians underpasses.
Additionally, the Fujairah Police will get a new Dh96.7-million headquarters.
Al Mazrouei also inspected progress on a project to upgrade the Mleiha Road, off the Sheikh Khalifa Highway. The project will link the two roads.
He also stopped at Wadi Al Ghail Dam. He noted that the ministry oversees 104 dams and levees, with a total capacity of 130 million cubic metres. He said that over 40 million cubic metres of rain water was stored in the ministry’s dams last year.
