Shaikh Zayed’s noble values remembered

Abu Dhabi -? Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; and Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development on Monday attended the evening entitled ?Zayed ... The Humanitarian Leader? held at the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
The evening was sponsored by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, in collaboration with the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre in Abu Dhabi along with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments on the occasion of the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day. The day is marked on the 19th day of Ramadan every year, in memory of the founder of the state, the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who passed away on this day.
In his opening speech, Dr Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, said the event comes in recognition of Shaikh Zayed?s accomplishments and is a reminder to generations of his noble values and cultural achievements and his stature nationally, regionally and globally. He added that the event is a renewal of the oath of allegiance and loyalty to UAE'?s wise leadership represented by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and the Rulers of the Emirates. ?
