The Ras Al Khaimah Police have clocked up 43,380 minutes of online meetings, as they attended to all cases and requests when strict #StayHome protocols were in place.
By running a total of 723 virtual meetings since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, the police have made sure top-notch service is delivered to the emirate's residents.
Major-General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, General Commander of the RAK Police, said these remote discussions all went smoothly, with the use of the latest telecommunication technologies.
"The RAK Police efficiently conducted these meetings that were attended by 2,097 staffers from all police departments, sections, and branches in the emirate," he added.
Besides ensuring the safety of their staff, this work set-up has also allowed employees to save up to 5,090 hours and over 500,000km in travel distance.
