For a second day, it rained in Al Ain but it was hot and humid in Abu Dhabi City. By Saturday evening, moderate to heavy rain was reported from Al Hili, Al Foah and Al Shuwaib areas close to Oman border. It rained along the Al Ain-Dubai stretch too.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, rain and dust storms led to poor visibility of less than 2km over eastern and southern areas from afternoon till 10pm on Saturday.
The NCM official said the weather will be hot to very hot with partial clouds over some areas on Sunday. "Some low clouds will appear eastward. Wind will blow from southeast to northeast and at time may lead to dust storms over some areas."

Mercury to rise

The official added that Monday and Tuesday will again be hot and humid. "It will be hazy at times on Monday with decrease in temperatures over western coasts. Humid weather will continue in western areas on Tuesday morning. Fog or mist formation may happen and you can expect dust storms by afternoon. Sea waves will slight to moderate in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman," the official added.
