New day-care hospital opens in Sharjah

Sharjah - The hospital is a state-of-the-art multispeciality facility

The healthcare division of Thumbay Group has added a new multispeciality hospital, Thumbay Hospital Day Care, to its network of teaching hospitals. Strategically located at the heart of Sharjah in Rolla, the new hospital will offer treatments and procedures as day-cases, meaning no overnight stay in the hospital is required, and patients can rest and recuperate in their own homes.

The hospital was officially opened by Marwan J. Al Sarkal, CEO of Shurooq, in the presence of Thumbay Moideen, founder president of Thumbay Group; Akbar Moideen Thumbay, vice-president of the healthcare division; Akram Moideen Thumbay, director, operations of the construction and renovation division; and others.

The hospital is a state-of-the-art multispeciality facility envisioned as a centre housing all major specialities under one roof. It uses the latest healthcare technology, combined with post-operative care and pain relief to enable patients to recover in just a few hours.
