In a brief tweet, the Mall of the Emirates said that the mall experienced a temporary power outage due to a technical issue. "Mall of the Emirates experienced a temporary power outage in parts of the mall earlier this evening." The tweet read. They have also informed mallgoers that the issue has been resolved and power has been restored.
Despite mall authorities clarifying that the outage was due to technical issue, it didn't stop Twitterati from linking it to the inclement weather conditions that Dubai, and other parts of the country experienced this afternoon.
