Indian expat wins luxury car at Dubai Duty Free

Abdul Gafoor Kunnathakath's dream of owning a brand new car came true yesterday evening when his ticket number 0735 in Series no.1681 was picked as lucky winner of an Audi Q7 3.0 (Florett Silver Metallic) in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Surprise Draw after the awarding ceremony of the Men's final.
The winning ticket was drawn by the Spanish player and champion of the tournament, Roberto Bautista Agut, who claimed his first Dubai title.
 Kunnathakath, a 51-year-old Indian national based in Dubai is a regular participant to Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire promotions purchased his ticket online. Working for DEWA and has been a resident of Dubai for more than 30 years couldn't contain his excitement when received an early call from Dubai Duty Free.
"This is such a great surprise, I can't believe I've won this fantastic car - it was the best news I've had in a long time. Thank you so much Dubai Duty Free!"
Roberto Bautista Agut was accompanied by Dubai Duty Free's Chief Operating Officer, Ramesh Cidambi and Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President - Marketing along with K. Rajaram, CEO, Al Nabooda Automobiles LLC and Enrico Atanasio, Brand Director -Audi Middle East.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Surprise promotion was held throughout the event running from 19 February to 3 March and added an unfailing excitement to all visitors and tennis fans.
