Hot days ahead in UAE as temperature climbs above 50°C

The temperature in UAE will be hot to very hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times,
the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said.
There is also a chance of some scattered rainfall by afternoon over some eastern and southern areas.
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times over some areas, causing blowing dust and sand over some exposed areas, it said.
"The highest temperature recorded over the country was 50.6 Celsius in Mezaira, Abu Dhabi," the bureau reported on Sunday.  The lowest temperature recorded on Sunday morning was 26.9 °C in Jais Mountain at 5:45am.

The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning tomorrow over some coastal and internal areas.
Winds will veer southeasterly to northeasterly, 15 - 28 Kph, reaching 35 Kph at times in the internal areas during daytime.
Maximum temperatures will surge to 48°C inland, with lows of 25°C expected in the mountains.
The outlook for the next two days is more of the same, hot to very hot, partly cloudy and hazy at times, light to moderate winds freshening at times over some northern areas on Monday, causing blowing dust and sand and poor horizontal visibility over exposed areas.
Relative humidity will increase during nights and mornings over some coastal and internal area.
Seas will be moderate over northern areas in the Arabian Gulf, and rough in general in the Sea of Oman.
