His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, urged government entities in Dubai to speed up the deployment of the Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System, as per the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Shaikh Hamdan ordered Dubai government entities to establish a task force in charge of setting a timeframe to fully implement the system that is based on results. The taskforce includes the secretary general of the Executive Council, Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Road and Transport Authority, Finance Department and Health Authority.
The remark was made as His Highness chaired the meeting of the Executive council, this morning in Emirates Tower, which was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
The meeting covered key strategic topics that are mainly aim to boost Dubai's position on the global scale. This include the review of recommendations generated from the Creativity Labs 2016 of The Dubai Plan 2021, held 21-22 March at Burj Khalifa, which mainly aim to address the challenges through innovative initiatives.
The general secretary of the Executive Council made a presentation that aimed to clarify the relation between government entities and free zones through the review of the legislative and organizational framework that govern them, and address the challenges mainly those related to infrastructures.
