Abu Dhabi Airports confirms that Etihad Airways flight EY301 from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Kuwait returned to AUH due to technical issues with the aircraft.
A statement from Abu Dhabi Airports was issued regarding a return of an Etihad Airways flight EY301 from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Kuwait City (KWI).
The plane returned to Abu Dhabi International Airport due to a technical issue with the aircraft.
The aircraft landed safely and all passengers and crew disembarked the aircraft safely.
Passengers and staff safety is Abu Dhabi Airports top priority and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Passengers are being assisted with their travel arrangements by Etihad Airways staff, and are being rebooked on the next available flights. Engineers are currently looking into the technical issue.
