Emirates issued a travel advisory on Sunday evening regarding two UK flights.
"Due to the industrial strike activity at London Heathrow Airport on August 5, customers are advised that flight EK031 scheduled to depart DXB at 1125 hrs to LHR will be re-routed to Birmingham Airport (BHX) and is scheduled to arrive at 1610 hrs," the alert said.
Flight EK032 will depart from Birmingham instead of London at 1920 hrs and is scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 0515 hrs the following day.
All other flights to London remain unaffected.
Customers departing from Birmingham or London Heathrow airport are requested to arrive at least three hours before their flights depart to allow extra time for check-in and security screening.
Furthermore, passengers departing from London Heathrow Airport are urged to minimise hand luggage for ease of travel through the airport.
