"Mauritania, Mauritius, Guinea, Gambia, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Senegal, Somalia, China, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Romania, and Lebanon are also included."
Dar Al Ber has further specified over Dh1 million for distributing free Iftar meals to low income people at the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Palestine, he added.
"This is added to another charity drive whereby free Iftar meals are granted at tens of mosques built by Emirati philanthropists around the world."
Dar Al Ber has collected Dh339,200 for this special campaign, Bin Zayed pointed out. "These have been allocated for contributing free Iftar meals in 34 mosques built by Emiratis in eight countries."
The leading charity Society, based in Dubai, has also supported the Syrian refugees in Lebanon with Dh100,000 as part of its promising Ramadan campaign this year, he elaborated.
"The seasonal Ramadan campaign is meant to help needy people, promote and spread the spirit of fraternity, compassion and solidarity in the society, and live up to Islamic principles and national Emirati values."
