The Dubai Shopping Festival 2016 will come to a close today (February 1), after giving residents and international visitors an opportunity to "Unwrap the Exceptional" in shopping, prize winning and entertainment over the past 32 days.
Among the memorable events of DSF 2016 were celebrity appearances and exclusive performances by Arabic singers, numerous promotions and raffles worth millions of dirhams.
Shoppers who spend a few days in Dubai after DSF will still have the opportunity to win huge prizes such as the Infiniti Mega Raffle and Nissan Grand Raffle, which will remain until February 6.
Among the most popular activities were the Market Outside the Box, Disney's Sparkling Frozen Forest - based on the popular film - and Global Village, which attracted thousands to experience different sights, sounds and tastes from across the globe.
The 'Fashion Express' - an in-mall 'flashmob' that took place at Ibn Battuta Mall and Dubai Festival City Mall, saw customers being driven to stores across both malls.
The 150 activities and attractions were designed to highlight Dubai as an attractive destination for families, and as the region's most important hub for homegrown and international brands.
