3-year-old girl strangled to death by flagpole rope in UAE

Fujairah - She had been left unsupervised by her guardians.

A 3-year-old child was strangled to death after a flagpole rope accidentally wrapped around her neck in Fujairah.
She had been playing outside in the front yard of her home far from parental supervision in Al Qariyah area on Monday, as per an Emarat Al Youm report.
A spokesperson at the Fujairah Police General Command office said that they were notified of the incident and had dispatched ambulances and patrols to the scene. 
Apparently, the rope had been loosely hanging from the flagpole when the child had begun playing with it and got herself tangled.
She was transferred to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries before reaching the premises. 
Her body was released to her parents after legal procedures were undertaken.
