The Dubai Police nabbed 19 intruders who were found harassing and eve-teasing people on beaches and roads, last year, said Brigadier Jamal Salem Jallaf, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation. These unruly elements were found disturbing people and creating nuisance, he added.
Al Jallaf pointed out that 11 intruders were caught in Jumeirah, five in Al Mamzar, two on Al Khawaneej roads and one on the Commercial Center Street.
The director praised the efforts of the Dubai Police to protect the community members from harassment and eve-teasing, that they could be exposed to in public places.
