It's VAT-free by the way.

Who doesn't dream of going to Paris? It's on everybody's list of destinations. For a while now, the French city has attracted numerous tourists. It has also been known under various names such as the City of Love and the City of Lights. And as Audrey Hepburn would say it: 'Paris isn't for changing planes, it's for changing your outlook'. But lofty travel dreams aside, everyone also knows that having a Parisian holiday is an expensive task. Tickets and hotel booking alone can put a dent on one's savings.

But here's something that will make your Paris dreams come true - a holiday package for under Dh2,000.

On Thursday, Holiday Factory and Etisalat announced a Paris holiday package. For only Dh1,899, travellers can enjoy a 3-night hotel stay in Paris. It comes with return flights and free travel insurance. If you want to stay longer, they have a 5-night package that costs Dh2,299. On top of that, you get bonus Etisalat Smiles points for your purchase of the package.

There are some caveats, however. You can choose any travel date before November 30 except for the peak season and the UAE public holidays.

Anywhere else?

Don't fancy Europe? There are similar deals available that revolve around the same price point.

Musafir for example is currently offering a 3-night holiday package to Amman, Jordan. It's only Dh1,699 - that's Dh200 less! They also cover visa fees for certain nationalities. They also have a Holy Umrah package for only Dh1,999 which comes with return flights and a 2-night hotel stay.

If you're looking for a shorter holiday that will fit snugly into a weekend, Dnata Travel is offering a 2-night holiday in Muscat, Oman from Dh1,861.
