The aircraft will serve short to medium haul cities, with Bahrain as its inaugural destination
According to a video posted by Sharjah Municipality's Instagram, traffic patrol officers went on their usual inspection rounds, handing out cards to create awareness about parking laws.
The message was illustrated with a smiling parking metre saluting the car owner, which read: "Dear parking space user, we regret to inform you that you have violated the paid parking system. We are reminding you and not issuing a violation. We hope that in future you will abide by the parking laws. Salutations from the Public Parking Department at Sharjah Municipality."
They placed leaflets instead of tickets on vehicles for violations, urging them to comply with parking laws.
The aim was to create awareness among motorists about the rules and regulations.
