Brigadier General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, said that the initiative aims at enabling customers to use their special numbers under the leasing system. They can continue using them by renewing the lease and licences for their desired periods.
The initiative is a reflection of the Ministry of Interior's strategic objectives aimed at enhancing the satisfaction of clients through their services and as part of the Sharjah Police General Command's endeavor to provide its services to all segments of society.
Sharjah Police had recently introduced new categories of number plates through online auctions, organised in collaboration with Emirates Auction Company which specialises in selling unique numbers, where residents can buy unique numbers through various auctions.
