RTA unveils family packages for ferry riders
The price of the Gold Class ticket will be Dh210 dirham instead of Dh225, and the price of the Silver Class ticket will be Dh140 instead of Dh150.
The Public Transport Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has unveiled family packages marking the start of events of the Dubai Summer Festival with the aim of attracting new riders to the Dubai Ferry.
“The family packages comprise four tickets (two for adults and two for children) with a discount on the sales price. The price of the Gold Class ticket will be Dh210 dirham instead of Dh225, and the price of the Silver Class ticket will be Dh140 instead of Dh150,” said Hussain Khansaheb, Director of Marine Transport, Public Transport Agency at the RTA.
“Through launching this promotional offer we aim to increase the ridership of the Ferry by five per cent. Thus we are targeting an additional 3,936 riders to bring the Ferry ridership by the end of 2014 to 82,647.
