RTA bags two awards
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) bagged two awards in the ‘First UAE Ideas Conference and Award’, organised by the UAE Ideas Group affiliated to Dubai Quality Group.
The conference under the theme ‘My Innovation - My Identity,’ is aimed at recognising successful UAE models, fostering excellence prospects and showcasing superb models of successful leaders.
Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA, received the awards for the Best Innovation in Promoting the Arabic Language and for the Best Innovation in Promoting the National Identity on social networking sites.
Al Tayer congratulated the winning team and commended their efforts which have yielded two awards out of five, leaving three awards for other contenders.
Dr Aysha Al Busmait, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication and Head of the National Identity Team in the RTA, said: “The team overseeing the Arabic language excellence initiative ‘Husn Al Bayan’ was announced the winner while one of its 30 sub-initiatives won the Best Innovation in Promoting National Identity Award on Social Networking Sites.
