Now, pay your Dubai traffic fines in installments

Dubai - The police signed similar agreements with other firms.

Standard Chartered Bank credit card holders can now pay their traffic fines in installments after the bank signed an MoU with the Dubai Police.
The customers can avail the interest-free service and opt for a period of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months to pay the fine amount.
This came as part of Dubai Police's ongoing strategy to provide integrated financial solutions to individuals and companies. The police signed similar agreements with other firms to allow motorists to pay their traffic fines in installments using credit cards.

The MoU, which was signed by the General Department of Finance and Standard Charted Bank is in line with the Dubai Smart City initiative which promotes the use of digital services.
Payments can be made by visiting theDubai Police website or using the Dubai Police Smart App.
