New road in DIP to ease traffic

A new road in Dubai Investments Park will facilitate movement of light vehicles to the showroom area of the park from the Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The project, being built at a cost of Dh14 million, will be completed in November and the master plan for the project has been approved. “The new road plan is one of the pivotal projects undertaken by Dubai Investments Park Development Company and is set to benefit the tenants and residents of DIP in terms of easing tailbacks in the area and serving both inbound and outbound traffic from the development,” said Omar Mesmar, DIP General Manager.

The development also announced that it had signed an agreement with the Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) to open a service station within the park.

Construction of the service station will begin in September and it is expected to open in the second half of 2014. Located between DIP-1 and DIP-2, the fuel station will have all lifestyle choices such as a supermarket, food outlets and convenient automotive facilities such as cleaning/ tyre/oil check-up points.

“Our efforts are focused on consistent enhancement of the facilities in place, and ensuring the DIP occupants gain access to convenient services within the park,” added Mesmar. -news@khaleejtimes.com
