The project, which will cover the Zayed 1st and 2nd and Hamdan Streets and aims at cutting trip time and reducing congestion, was under the focus of discussions at the meeting of the Executive Committee today.
The project will also cater for safety of bus passengers and other road users.
Chaired by Mohammed Al Bowardi, member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, the meeting approved budget for providing 13,000 cubic metre of recycled water per day for irrigating public gardens at al Falah residential community.
The committee looked into other topics on its agenda and took appropriate action on them.
