What had been speculated to make an appearance during Apple's last event in September will apparently finally pop up at the end of this month.
The tech bellwether is set to hold a special event in Brooklyn, New York, on October 30, in which it is expected announce refreshes on its hardware.
The invitations sent out to the media, coming with varying designs of the Apple logo, was, as always, minimal in detail. Scribbled beneath was "There's more in the making."

While giving away little, it is widely expected that the company will be introducing new iPads and MacBooks. Apple has traditionally unveiled updates to these lines at this time of the year, save for a number of announcements during last year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
At the event that will be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Howard Gilman Opera House, Apple is expected to reveal a revamped iPad that takes cues from the design first donned by last year's iPhone X, meaning the home button - along with TouchID - will be scrapped, in favour of FaceID. This was first reported by Bloomberg earlier this year.
Apple's new tablets would be iPad Pros that will come in 11 and 12.9 inches, the news service added.

Also to be launched will be an entry-level Mac intended to be the successor to the MacBook Air, plus a professional-grade Mac mini, both of which were also speculated upon during the iPhone launch on September 12.
Judging by the colourful doodles on the invites, it can be expected that Apple will be unveiling new software for its tablets - particularly, a version of Adobe Photoshop, which was recently demonstrated and is slated to ship for the iPad Pro in 2019. Macworld also speculates that a new Apple Pencil will be unveiled, plus, possibly, "iOS versions of Final Cut and Logic.
The Brooklyn event will be Apple's fourth major showcase this year, following the usual September iPhone launch and June's WWDC, plus the 'field trip' event for education-focused iPads on March 27. It is also the company's second gathering outside its home turf of California in 2018; the last time it held an event in New York was in 2012.
