The launch of the new ePrint platform gives each device an e-mail address and allows documents to be e-mailed directly to the printer for immediate printing.
HP also unveiled their top-of-the-range printer, the Photosmart eStation All-in-One, which features a Google Android based touchscreen that can also be used as an eReader.
Another device, the Envy, is styled to look more like a fashionable hifi component than a traditional printer, reports the Telegraph.
Although the new ePrint platform can’t print web pages, it handles most other formats and is aimed at remote workers as well as people working away from their offices.
A generic e-mail address is assigned to each printer but it can be changed by users after purchase.
HP has also announced the first of a number of applications, which will be available this autumn on the Photosmart e-All-in-One range.
Prices start at 99 pounds, with the Envy priced at 250 pounds and the eStation All-in-One at 380 pounds. The printers will be released in October.
