Etihad launches iPhone app offering 10 per cent off flights

LOVE THE AIR service out of Abu Dhabi? A fan of easy-to-use tech? "Cut to the chase, tell us about the money we can save on flights!" Okay, we hear you. Your wish is our command as your voyaging life just got a little bit better with Etihad's new app. The airline has partnered with Travelport's MTT and come up with a great introductory offer to introduce you to their new mobile platform.
You'll receive 10 per cent off flights and members of the airline's loyalty programme Etihad Guest will be awarded 250 bonus miles for every booking made through the app before May 30. Sound good? We think so! 
The Etihad Airways mobile app is simple and enjoyable to use, providing trip management capabilities including paying for tickets by scanning your credit card and being able to check in by scanning your passport page. Boarding passes can be viewed from the app or downloaded directly to iOS Wallet.
We like the way the app takes care of you, not only when buying tickets, but throughout the whole journey by allowing you to choose your seat and even telling you from where you can collect your luggage upon arrival.
Obviously the money off helped, but we reckon we'll be using this bit of kit for some time to come.
