Spearheaded by CEO Abdul Majeed, Antalya Tourism Company is just a year-and-a-half old organisation but the company is making waves among its circles for promoting Pakistan as a tourism hub to its clients in Dubai.
Located in Al Nahda, Sharjah, the company is currently one of the preferred operators for sightseeing in the UAE. Its clientele list includes tourists from Europe, Asia, US, Turkey, Pakistan.
Talking about the popularity of the company, Majeed says: "Since the start of the company until pre-Covid era, we saw an inflow of 15,000 tourists. We offer special and personalised packages to suit the customers. Looking at the popularity, we plan to open an office in Dubai too."
Some of the packages offered by Antalya Tourism Company include Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain city tours, safaris, historical, entertaining and cultural sightseeing, water sports.
As the tours companies are opening up across the UAE to support tourism, Antalya Tourism Company take great precaution to safeguard their clients and staff. Sanitisation and proper protocols are in place to help minimise Covid-19 risks in line with government guidelines. "Safety is our utmost priority and we want to reflect this in our efforts while giving the customers oncein-a-lifetime experience."

Last year, Pakistan was dubbed as one of the top tourist destinations in the world as part of the results of the efforts taken by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government. To bolster the Pak government’s initiatives and boost the economy of his home country, Majeed started the Antalya Tourism Company in 2018. In the future, he wants to get clients from across Europe, America and Asia to Dubai and then to Pakistan. "Dubai is a tourist destination. Everyone wants to see this place. We want to promote Pakistan via Dubai."
To generate more buzz about the country among its clientele, the company has video clips, photos, pamphlets and brochures from all the tourist places in Pakistan with detailed itinerary that will surely attract attention of the visitors.
The CEO now plans to open a multicity branch in the UAE and Pakistan. "We are also collaborating with local tour companies in country to push brand ‘Pakistan’."
Local tourism is another aspect that the founder is looking at. "I want to promote Pakistan within Pakistan as well. Many people in my own country are unaware of how beautiful the place is."
