Praveen Bangera, GM - Retail of Bafleh Jewellery, wants Diwali shoppers to know that Bafleh Jewellery is keeping their safety and happiness at the heart of their shopping experience this season. The brand has a number of exclusive new pieces and shoppers can reach out to them through their shops in Dubai and Sharjah or across various social media channels to pick and place their order.

"Shoppers have started to return to the markets and they want to buy," he said. "The only thing that is missing is that we used to get a lot of customers from India, who would come to the UAE for the Diwali season, and they would go out and shop, but that has changed right now with the various travel restrictions and Covid-19. However, we are seeing lots of demand over the past week from residents."

Diwali is a special time for shoppers, he said, and many of them always wait for the festival to make their purchases because they look forward to lots of amazing deals. "Our 'No Making Charges' offer on gold and 'Buy 1 Get 1 Offer' on diamonds in particular is very special because shoppers will be seeing it only once a year during Diwali and it is valid across all our range of Diamond  products and selected New Gold Jewellery. We have already been getting lots of enquiries on our website and social media pages from interested shoppers, who are delighted at the fact that we offer them the option for home delivery. We have always been keen to offer our customers that flexibility that they can count on."

Speaking about trends in the market right now, Bangera said that diamonds are still a girl's best friend. "We have several diamond pieces in 18k with prices that start from as low as Dh500.  We have also started light weight collections in 14 kt which starts from Dh250. When it comes to gold jewellery, we have seen 18k pieces really take off with customers. Many women are looking for small statement pieces that they can wear on a day-to-day basis. The designs are delicate and lightweight and perfect for office wear and casual settings. On the other hand, buying gold for investment purposes means that shoppers are looking for gold coins and bars."

"White gold mixed with rose gold designs are also proving to be a clear favourite with our customers," he added. "Of course, we also cater to the rest of our customers who want traditional pieces in yellow gold. Even here, we are being innovative with our designs. Traditional polki jewellery always comes in 22k and 18k, but we have also launched spectacular designs in 14k. Not only is the price point more attractive, but the weight of the jewellery is significantly less, which makes it comfortable to wear. This is great news for women that are looking for large statement pieces that will complement their Diwali outfits. Whatever your preference, Bafleh is here to serve you this Diwali season."
