She talks about the doors of opportunities money opened up for her in the country
It is not just that the Australians have had the Indians on the floor more recently. A certain Aussie has had us floored with his acting skills. And come to think of it, he has been spot on, if one may say so, with him getting the vote of confidence from a film producer/actor/director.
Australian opener David Warner has been no stranger to Bollywood, with his dance moves, both solo and with his family, being a massive draw on social media platforms during the Covid-19 lockdown. And he and his wife Candice, as well the kids, kept everyone entertained ahead of the IPL and after it, too, and have been adored by fans world over.
But the latest raised the bar and took it to new heights. Warner impersonated none other than the King of Bollywood — Shah Rukh Khan — from the movie Don 2.
Warner used the Reface app to enact an action sequence from the 2011 flick and the video has since gone viral and blazed the Internet.
Warner posted the video on Instagram with the caption: ‘Sorry about the violence in this but I don’t think you’ll get this one!!!@ #movie #actor #helpme”
The left-handed batsman has 5.1 million followers and counting, on Insta, and many commented that he take up acting.
But the best comment was from the man who directed the film — Farhan Akhtar. Akhtar, who has given many hits like the cult classics Rock On, Rock On 2, Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Gully Boy and The Sky Is Pink, to name a few, said: ‘Don Under..the chase continues.
