Al Jazira head coach Jurgen Streppel expects to see his players rise to the challenge when they face Al Ain in the Arabian Gulf Cup on Friday, a press release said.
The Pride of Abu Dhabi welcome the Garden City outfit to Mohammed bin Zayed stadium with Streppel's side aiming to get back to winning ways in the group stage after last week's defeat in the competition.
The Dutchman insists the whole squad was disappointed by the loss and wants to see his players produce a better performance in front of their home fans.
"Every training session has an impact and it's an opportunity for the players to pick themselves up and focus on the next game," said Streppel.
"We have a squad that has youth and experience and I expect them to react against Al Ain and fight until the last minute of the game. We only have to look at ourselves and hopefully we can claim the three points."
