Saudi Arabia to offer residency to international artists

The announcement was made at an event in Riyadh yesterday.

For the first time, Saudi Arabia is offering a chance to take up residency to international artists. 
It was announced at an event in Riyadh to announce the Minister of Culture's vision and strategy for the future. 
The new 'cultural residency' scheme, residency will include arts prizes, culture fund to support artists, Arab News reported. 
 

The launch of the Kingdom's first dedicated #MinistryOfCulture will support and enable a vibrant ecosystem to flourish and contribute to the objectives of #SaudiVision2030.
