Saudi Arabia has announced a number of initiatives related to visas for expatriates, including extension of validity of the final exit visa, for free.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SPA, other measures include extending the validity of expired Residence Permit (Iqama) for expatriates who are outside the country on exit and return visa.
This is in case of expiry of the document during the period of suspension of entry into and exit from the Kingdom, for a period of three months.
The expats will not be charged for the renewal of the document.
Saudi Arabia has also extended the validity of unused exit and return visa for expatriates for three months. The expats will not have to pay any kind of fee for the extension.
The exit and return visa for all expatriates, will also be valid for a period of three months, at no extra costs to be incurred to the expats.
The validity of Residence Permit (Iqama), has also been extended, for expatriates who arrived in the kingdom on a visit visa, that might be ending during the period of travel suspension, currently existent in the country.
The extension is for a period of three months and is absolved of all extra charges.
