Video: Schools shut as heavy rains wreak havoc in Kuwait

Kuwait - The ministry urged the public to be cautious on the roads.

Heavy rains hit Kuwait on Monday night and early on Tuesday morning causing flooding in several main roads across the country.
According to Kuwait News Agency (Kuna), the Education Ministry has announced the closure of schools and colleges due to the unstable weather.

The Ministry of Interior also urged the citizens and residents to be cautious on the roads as the flow of traffic is affected by water logging in many roads.
According to Kuwait's meteorology department, rain will continue in different parts of the country over the next few days with temperatures dropping further.
Videos shared on social media show how vehicles are stranded due to flash floods in the country.
