Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled appointed as Kuwait PM

Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled will be tasked with nominating members of the cabinet.

An Amiri order assigned on Tuesday, November 19, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah as Prime Minister of Kuwait, abrogating a previous order on Monday, which assigned Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak to the post
Sheikh Jaber respectably declined the post after deliberation with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Saba.
In line with the order, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled will be tasked with nominating members of the cabinet and providing a list of names to the Amir for approval.
Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled will execute the order and notify the National Assembly of the process.
The order will take effect on the date of issue and will be published in the official newspaper.
