Actress Athmiya Rajan, famous for Joseph, tied the knot on January 25 in Kannur, Kerala, and in a recent conversation with an entertainment portal talks about how she met her engineer husband, Sanoop.
The chat revealed that while Athmiya and Sanoop studied in the same college they didn’t meet until he sent her a congratulatory message upon the release of her first film Manam Kothi Paravai in 2012. Their marriage plans were hampered by Covid-19 as they had initially planned to tie the knot in 2020.
A video from Athmiya and Sanup’s wedding doing the rounds shows Sanup keeping his long hair in place with a hairband, sporting a Kurta and mundu; Athmiya looks gorgeous in a white and red sari accessorized with traditional jewellery. Athmiya’s last post was a collage of images celebrating the wedding on January 29.
Athmiya’s latest project is Avanovilona which she is currently filming.
