Be careful if you happen to come across these sexual performance enhancers on pharmacy shelves.
The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi (Haas) has issued several advisories on its site, warning against the use of the unauthorised "Magic Chocolate" product.
According to laboratory analyses, the product contains undeclared traces of Sildenafil, Tadalafil and Vardenafil, which are approved prescription drugs used for erectile dysfunction.
If you suffer from heart problems, using the product could result in heart attack, stroke, chest pain, high blood pressure and arrhythmia.
Other sexual enhancers which have been flagged by the Haad are "Pena Tropin Capsules" (Sildenafil and Tadalafil) - for its potential risk heart patients; "Tongat Ali Power Plus Capsule" (Sildenafil) causing life threatening low-blood pressure; and "V M Plus Capsule" also causing potentially life-threatening low blood pressure.
The Haad called on consumers to avoid using these product, as well as report any products to their hotline.
